Ms. Florence B. Ajayi-Barnes

Ms. Florence B. Ajayi-Barnes graduated from Long Island University in 1996 with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing She then completed her Masters of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2005.

Florence has been a practicing FNP for 15 years.She has been employed at Mount Sinai Hospital of Queens for 19 years, currently on the Medical Surgical and Stroke Units and at Eastern Parkway Medical for 15 yrs.

Florence is patient, a great communicator, provides excellent care, education and comfort to all patients.She is passionate about education and is a preceptor to many of our NP students, in which she provided them with strong clinical teaching and supervision.

Florence specializes in providing primary care to patients with Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus, Chronic Kidney Disease and a range of health needs..
